The Urban Pioneer Project is documenting the lives of Urban Pioneers around the world. It's also maintaining a place for all of us to share what we're doing, to talk, and meet friends and collaborators.

All of our participants are drawn to big cities in search of culture, careers and excitement. Our energy and our talent drive the economy and enrich the culture of these giant cities - and the world. Yet if we left tomorrow, what would each of us leave behind? What evidence would exist of all our hard work and play? The Project is making a permanent record of our lives and our achievements. And hopefully creating a source of information and entertainment.

To date, participants in the Urban Pioneer Project include street artists, fashion designers, entrepreneurs, indy filmmakers, hair stylists, investment bankers, teachers, illustrators, chefs, musicians, magazine editors, publicists, a part-time dominatrix, and an agent for kung fu stunt doubles.
