Flaunt-a-Friend Friday!

Today's star is Amy Ramm, creator of NadaMoo! an organic, agave-sweetened, dairy-free frozen treat that soothes your soul when, as the NadaMoo-ers like to say "...when having a cow is out of the question!"

NadaMoo! is a homegrown company that makes high-quality, natural food products in a responsible way. They combine traditional preparation methods with their knowledge of nutrition and the healing properties of foods to make health-conscious products so refreshing and satisfying that it makes having a cow out of the question.

They believe that business should be fun and desserts should be delicious but not deadly. The NadaMoo! team is passionate about natural foods and enjoys creating new culinary adventures, flavors and products. They only work with people who share our vision. Their mission is purity, stewardship, profitability, co-operation and integrity in both our products and business operations.

The NadaMoo! products are the brainchild of Amy Ramm, is a natural foods chef and instructor whose creativity and passion for cooking inspires people from all walks of life. She is the Culinary Program Director at the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts, where she teaches many of the home processing and hands-on cooking classes as well as advises the students throughout the program. She also cooks for special events, retreats and private clients. Amy studied baking science at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and trained locally with some of Austin's best pastry chefs and bakers in the mid 1990's. More recently Amy studied and taught with acclaimed author Paul Pitchford, whose book Healing with Whole Foods is used worldwide as a textbook in medical and nutritional training programs. She is taking a break to produce and promote NadaMoo!, an all organic, sugar-free, dairy-free frozen treat that can be purchased at Whole Foods, Wheatsville Coop, and Farm to Market Grocery.

Other people are looking for alternative foods that meet their social, ethical or ecological standards — they want to eat organically grown foods or lead a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle; or they're concerned about animal rights, overpopulation, or fair business and trade practices. NadaMoo! fits all of those requirements…and it’s delicious!
